INTERACTIVITY For more than ten years, Ive used my writing to help companies define and deepen their brands. Ive spent the past seven years as a freelancer focusing largely on interactive communicationsfrom developing original content for complex corporate web sites, to designing educational electronic games and creating audio scripts for museum tours. FOOD AND WINE Food and wine are my professional passions. Ive created more than 100 recipes for clients, by working closely with a talented Sonoma chef. Ive written extensively about wine for a lay consumer audiencefrom the hows of tasting to tips on starting a wine group. I regularly take advantage of continuing education courses in food and winemost recently the Introduction to Winemaking Course offered by the University of California at Davisand look forward to more learning. PRINT AND EDUCATION Ive authored one book, a memoir called Generation J (Harper Collins), which landed on the best seller lists of the San Francisco Chronicle and The Village Voice, and generated controversial responses nationwide. I earned my master's degree at Oxford University in social anthropology and my bachelors degree at Brandeis University, where I graduated magna cum laude, with high honors in English and American Literature. |
